Tour Itinerary

Day 1 :

Guwahati

Arrival at Guwahati airport/railway station and transfer to the hotel. Optional: Evening cruise on the Brahmaputra River.

Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 2 :

Guwahati – Kaziranga

Optional: Kamakhya Temple visit at Guwahati. Transfer to Kaziranga National Park (approx. 5 hours).

Optional: Orchid Park visit.

Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 3 :

Kaziranga – Jorhat/Majuli

Optional: Early morning Elephant safari. Jeep safari in Kaziranga National Park.

Transfer to Jorhat or directly to Majuli Island by ferry across the Brahmaputra River.

Overnight stay in Jorhat/Majuli.

Day 4 :

Jorhat/Majuli

Optional: Guided Tea tour and tasting (depending on accommodation).

Transfer to Majuli Island by ferry across the Brahmaputra.

Overnight stay in Majuli.

Day 5 :

Majuli

Guided tour of Vaishnavite monasteries and village visits.

Optional: Guided village cultural tour or Vaishnavite culture dance show.

Day 6 :

Majuli – Sivasagar

Transfer from Majuli to Sivasagar (approx. 3-4 hours). Heritage sightseeing tour of Sivasagar with an optional guide to cover Rang Ghar, Talatal Ghar, Jaysagar Tank, and Shiva Dol.

Overnight stay in Sivasagar.

Day 7 :

Sivasagar to Mon Via Charaideo

Transfer from Sivasagar to Mon via Gargaon and Charaideo Maidams.

Overnight stay in Mon.

Day 8 :

Longwa Visit

Guided Longwa village visit for a cultural village tour. Overnight stay in Mon.

Day 9 :

Explore Mon

Explore Shyanha & Shyangnyu villages to explore the culture and museums. Overnight stay in Mon.

Day 10 :

Mon – Dibru Saikhowa

Transfer from Mon to Dibrugarh (approx. 6-7 hours) via Sonari.

Overnight stay in Dibru Saikhowa.

Day 11 :

Explore Dibru Saikhowa

Transfer to Dibru Saikhowa National Park.

Optional: Activities like a ferry ride with sightseeing and birding cum country boating at Maguri Beel. Evening leisure.

Overnight stay in Dibru Saikhowa.

Day 12 :

Dibru Saikhowa – Dibrugarh

Transfer to Tai Phakey village for an ethnic lunch and village walk.

Afternoon, transfer to Dibrugarh hotel.

Overnight stay in Dibrugarh.

Post Breakfast Drop at Dibrugarh airport

Accommodation for 12 Nights on Double/Triple sharing basis. Extra bed or extra mattresses will be provided in Triple sharing rooms.

Transfers from Guwahati airport/railway station and drop till Dibrugarh airport by exclusive vehicle
All Sightseeing as per the Itinerary with an experienced driver, including fuel, toll, parking, and driver’s allowances.

Do I need permits to visit Nagaland?

Yes, visitors need to have Inner Line Permits to enter Nagaland. Foreign nationals need to report at the nearest police station of their entry.

Are foreign nationals allowed on this tour?

We host foreign nationals only with a local guide in Nagaland.

How do we get to Majuli Island?

To reach Majuli Island, you will need to take a ferry across the Brahmaputra River. Ferry charges are not included in the package.

What is included in the meals?

The tour includes CP (9 days), MAP (1 day), and AP (2 days). (CP = Breakfast, MAP = Breakfast and Dinner, AP = All three meals)

What are some of the optional activities available?

What is the payment and cancellation policy?

We only confirm after receiving a 50% advance of the total cost. The remaining 50% has to be paid on or before 07 days of the trip. Cancellation charges are applicable as per the cancellation policy.
